Everything a guest usually asks at the desk

A small family-run hotel works best when expectations are set clearly and early. This page collects the practical details of a stay at Hotel Cecile: when you can arrive, when the room needs to be free, and how the building is reached.

Check-in runs from 1:30 PM to 8:00 PM and check-out is by 10:30 AM. Share your arrival time when you reserve so the desk is staffed and the keys are waiting for you.

Arrival and the welcome

Check-in runs from 1:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Guests are asked to let the property know their expected arrival time in advance so someone is ready to welcome you, hand over the keys and explain how the building works. If a train is delayed or a flight lands late, a phone call is enough to keep everything on track.

Departure morning

Check-out is by 10:30 AM on the day you leave. That does not have to end your day in Pisa: luggage storage and lockers are available, so you can spend the remaining hours in the old city and collect your bags on the way to the station or the airport.

Stairs and access

The property does not have an elevator, and the upper floors are reached by stairs only. It is worth keeping in mind if you are travelling with heavy luggage or would rather avoid steps. Tell reception when you reserve and the property will do what it can within the limits of a historic building.

Parking for drivers

Private parking is available on site by reservation and for an additional charge. Central Pisa is not a city that rewards optimism about parking, so arrange a space when you book rather than assuming one will be free when you arrive.

Services at the desk

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. The hotel also offers luggage storage, lockers, concierge assistance, express check-in and check-out, and daily housekeeping. Non-smoking rooms are available, and hairdryers can be requested at reception whenever you need one.

Before you confirm

Bathrooms are private or shared depending on the room, some rooms are air-conditioned and bed layouts can often be arranged to suit you. All of these are easier to settle in a two minute conversation than in an email chain, and reception is glad to have it.

What the building gives, and what it asks

Older Pisan houses have thick walls, tall windows and stairs that were built long before suitcases had wheels. What you gain is quiet: rooms that hold their temperature, nights without corridor noise, and a location no modern building in this part of the city could offer. What the house asks in return is a little patience with its stairs and its layout.

Housekeeping visits every day, and reception keeps an eye on the small things: towels, toiletries, a hairdryer when you need it, coffee in the room, a place to leave bags on the last morning. If something is not right, say so at the desk rather than after you leave, because in a house this size it can usually be fixed the same day.

Choose your dates and let Pisa take care of the rest

Availability and rates are confirmed on our reservation page. If anything needs explaining first, reception answers the telephone through the day and can talk through rooms, bathroom arrangements, arrival times and parking before you decide.
